Can you tell us a bit more about the OASIS Magazine?

OASIS Magazine is a future digital resource. It is dedicated to inspire the reader and to experience things. We’ve created an online space for women to take a break from their daily lives. We incorporate a lot of creativity, whether it’s a fashion tip, a plan for their next trip or just editorials that inspire them.

When did it start?

Initially, this idea came two years ago when I was doing my photography course,  I decided to do a fashion magazine, where I managed everything. This idea was successful and I just became one of the best students. Nowadays, I still keep this magazine with the greatest affection. Time passed, until a few months ago. I had a breakthrough in my daily routine, and I got this idea back. I promise myself not to give up this time. It has become a media that I want people to be inspired by, as it inspires me to dedicate time to something I really enjoy doing.

Can you describe your community?

My followers have grown slowly, and I'm glad to hear that there are people who like to read OASIS. In the future I want this project to grow much more, and I intend to collaborate with some people to create a digital magazine later this year.

Where are you from?

I am from a small country called Portugal.

How would you describe your style?

I am a reserved person, but I like to take care of my image. Sometimes I like to wear something simple and clean, a classic look, but also wear golden accessories with a shirt. Because I like having a simple look makes me a simple person, but few people know that my head is a box full of ideas. I always had to fight for what I wanted and imagined, and I didn’t always succeed. I really lost count of the amount that I fell into the same mistake. It wasn’t always easy, but I found in my magazine a “safe harbor”, something that occupied my head and that helped me in my days. It’s something that helps me, so why not help others too?

Where do you draw your inspiration from?

When I looked at the big brands of fashion magazines in the world, I was thinking, “I wish I had one day…”. It’s something I always liked to read and imagine, that’s where my inspiration comes from.

What is your passion?

My passion is fashion and travel.

Where do you usually like to chill, take a drink, party at The Oasis Mag?

There isn't always time for this, but it doesn't mean that once in a while I'm not going out... I usually like to drink tea and go to sleep, but sometimes on the weekend, I like to go for coffee or a drink to chill.

What is your favorite place to travel?

My favorite place is Australia. A country that has always fascinated me since the first Geography class. Nowadays, I have lost count of how many times I have researched and the things I know about this country. And one of my dreams would be to live in this corner of the world.

What is your motto in life?

Every day I have to get up to go to work to reach my goals, get home to work in my online magazine and then go to sleep. This becomes routine, but my inspiration is here, knowing that I will spend part of the day doing something I like, OASIS.
