Interview of Rafaela Neokleous

Can you tell us a bit more about you?

I have a degree in Architecture. I always loved to draw and make architectural models even since I was at the elementary school. I started ballet at an early age for 13 years and basically, that has shaped the style I have now.

Where are you from and where do you live now?

I am from a beautiful island called Cyprus. After high school, I moved to Italy, Rome and Milan. Then I followed my passion which is architecture. I am currently living in Limassol, Cyprus.

Can you describe your community/followers?

We share the same interest in fashion, photography, architecture and art.

How would you describe your style, image, storytelling?

I love the monochrome and minimal style.

Where do you draw your inspiration from?

The inspiration comes from my history, my daily life and my desire to create. I usually get inspired by what I have in front of me that instantly turns into a picture in my mind. Somebody once said :

When your passion for architecture and content creation start?

I was always interested in architecture. I still remember my first model of my home that I made when I was a child. I started as a content creator when I was in the second year of architecture school. There is an interaction between these two areas and that helps me to develop both.

What are your biggest accomplishments?

My greatest accomplishment so far is probably gaining an honour in an International Architectural competition last year. Therefore my biggest achievement is yet to come.

Can you describe your lifestyle?

When I don't study for my master, I do yoga, boxing, meet up with friends or read a book.

Where do you usually like to go to chill/take a drink/party, dance?

I love going out with friends, whether for a drink or road trips. I always feel at ease when I am near the sea or looking at the stars.

What is your favourite place to travel?

Rome or the Greek islands.

What is your motto in life?

"It’s all going to be okay."
